VERNISSAGE 6TH VMSA EXPOSITION
december 10, 6 pm at Casa del Cinema - Roma
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ On thursday 10 december at 6 pm it will be opened the photographic exposition, as tradition, of the 6th Venice Movie Stars Award in wich you could see more than 60 pictures partecipating this year and also have vision of the new catalogue, limited edition.
The exposition will be opened from 10 dec 2009 to 28 february 2010.

Venice Movie Stars Award Cerimony - Milan, november 13th 2009
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This year the price will have a double house. On the occasion of the BeSpoke in Milan, from 11th to 15th november a selection of the photos in exposition in Roma (10 december 2009) will be exposed at the Palazzo del Ghiaccio. on the 13th november, at 6.30PM Riccardo Scamarcio and Isabella Ferrari will attend to the Award Cerimony (on invitation access).

During the 66th venice Film Festival he has been guest of the price and discussed the rest of the jury components.

A new image for the price

Maurizio Galimberti re.interpreted the historical photo on the beach in front at the Excelsior, and he gives new light and new emotions to the price.

New Collateral Prize at the 6th Venice Movie Stars Jaeger-leCoultre Award

The new award, the “Photocool” is dedicated to the most “cool” picture of the festival. This award is organized in collaboration with Film.it and as a price the author of the best picture will receive a Canon compact digital camera.

The 6th Venice Movie Stars Award info point is located on the Hotel Excelsior in the Terrazza of the Regione del Veneto. Here the photographers will be able to subscribe to the award, upload their pictures and also answer their general queries.

6th Venice Movie Stars Jaeger-leCoultre Award

Venice - on the 2nd september 2009, in occurrance with the opening of the 66th Venice Film Festival, the 6th Venice Movie Stars Award is running again. The photographers will be able to subscribe during the whole film festival and this year a new collateral award, the “Photocool award”, is animating the scene.

Venice - 28 august 2009 What better president of the jury than one of the most famous and respected photographers of the world: Douglas Kirkland who has made out of the cinema and the stars his main artistic production. Born in Toronto in 1935 he says: “I’m the luckiest person in the world. What’s my secret? I do what i really want to do: Take pictures!” With over 50 years of experience he’s had the privilege to see the famous stars under a unique perspective. Not only he has been the photographer of some of the most famous films of alltime, but he was also the author of some of the most famous shots of Marilyn, Travolta and John Lennon.
