Terms and conditions
Read the terms and conditions of the 6th Venice Movie Stars Jaeger-leCoultre Award.

1. 6th Venice Movie Stars Jaeger-leCoultre Award is the sixth edition of the photographic competition organised, in collaboration with AQA communication.

2. In order to take part in the competition you have to be accredited as a photographer at the 66th Venice International Film Festival.

3. The competition is reserved exclusively for professional photographers.

4. There are two official categories (reportage and portrait) and two collateral (“Pubblic Prize” and “Photocool” prize).

5. The photographs entered in the competition must carry the name of the photographer, the name of the subject and the date of shooting.

6. Photographs, in high resolution, must be presented on a CD and sent only to the following address: AQA communication - via Ligabue 2/c - 30174 Mestre Venezia, before 15 September 2009.

7. The photographs must be presented in jpeg or tif format (it would be best to send the original file). The jury is free to leave out of the competition low resolution photographs or with an excessive jpeg compression.

8. Taking part in the 6thVenice Movie Stars Jaeger-leCoultre Award is free. Enrolment in the competition is considered valid at the moment in which AQA Communication receives the CD with the photographs and the completed application form filled in with capital letters and signed. You can download the application form from www.moviestaraward.com.

9. The authors can send a maximum of 3 photographs for each category (reportage and portrait), making a maximum of 6 pictures in total.

10. The photographs must arrive at the above indicated address by the 15th September 2009.

11. The decision of the jury is final and unappealable. Participation in the competition implies the acceptance of the present rules.

12. Every participant declares to be the author of the photographs submitted for the competition, to have copyright on them and to be responsible for the content. Unless expressly stated in writing at the time of the application, every participant authorizes the publication of the pictures on the Internet, in the catalogue made for the Award, or in some particular events, relieving AQA communication from every responsibility and give to AQA communication all the rights for the use of the pictures. The results will be announced during the Award ceremony that will take place in Milan in November 2009.

13. The curator of the Award will be free to select, in his unquestionable opinion, photographs submitted to AQA communication to be printed and become part of the photographic exhibition 6th Venice Movie Stars Jaeger-LeCoultre Award in Rome and in Venice for the 67th Venice International Film Festival, and/or in other exhibition spaces indefinitely.

14. Moreover, the curator of the Award will be free to select, in his unquestionable opinion, photographs to be published on-line on the website www.moviestaraward.com and in the catalogue for the exhibition Venice Movie Stars Award, or used for activities connected to the Venice Movie Stars Award.

15. Official prizes: - a digital camera Canon Reflex EOS, kit with lens, for the winner of the reportage category.

- a Jaeger-leCoultre Reverso Grande GMT watch for the winner of the portrait category.

Collateral prizes: - a digital camera Canon (compact) for the winner of the ‘Pubblic Prize’.

- a digital camera Canon (compact) for the winner of the ‘Photocool Prize’.
