8th Venice Movie Stars Photography Award

The eighth edition of the Venice Movie Stars Photography Award will be awarded in three categories:

Official Selection:
• Best Portrait
• Best Reportage

Collateral Selection:
• Audience Award

The official evaluation of sections is done by members of the Official Jury of the Prize, including journalists, photographers and actors.

The Audience Award, in collaboration with Repubblica.it, is assigned to the most voted image by the LaRepubblica web page readers. During the past seventh edition of the award more than 25000 people have expressed their preference, determining the winning photo of this category.

THE EVENT OF AWARD
The awards ceremony, attended by numerous journalists and actors, since 2006 is held in December at the Casa del Cinema in Villa Borghese in Rome.
During the event the Venice Movie Stars Photography Award exhibition, which collects the most significant images of the award will be inaugurated; the exhibition will be at the Casa del Cinema until the end of February.

THE CATALOGUE
All of the images involved in the photo contest will be collected in a prestigious volume printed in limited edition.
